Event Description

Join the Central Alberta Multifaith Network for Compassion and Peace and Red Deer Polytechnic on Saturday, September 21st to recognize the UN International Day of Peace.

Our Keynote Speaker is Lewis Cardinal whose topic is "The Role of Religions, Faiths, and Spiritual Traditions in Global Reconciliation”. Lewis will be followed by a panel discussion with panelists from different religions/perspectives (including Baha'i, Buddhist, Humanist and more) about how peace shows up in scripture and practice in various religions/beliefs.

Everyone interested in building peaceful coexistence in our community is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
