Do you have a teen between the ages of 13 & 15 looking for something to do this summer? Our Dog Days of Summer Youth Program may be an exciting opportunity for them. Presented by Canine Specialist Susan O’Brien and Clinical Therapist Jennifer Keough, MA, RSW. Every Thursday beginning July 4th and running until August 29th we have two different experiences to offer. From 1:00pm to 3:00pm teens can come and help teach our dogs some new tricks and from 3:00 pm-5:00pm teens can come with their own dogs and work with their companion. Don’t have a dog but want to stay for the whole afternoon? No problem! We have dogs that would love to work with you! The cost is $150 for the 1-3pm session or the 3-5pm session OR $275 for both sessions. The costs covers all 9 weeks! Space is limited and all proceeds will go to support the community based Animal Assisted Activities Canine Program through Animal Assisted Therapy Alberta- Buff Co. For more information or to register please contact Jen at 403-350-1979 or email Jennifer@buffco.ca Note: All dogs must be evaluated by our Canine Specialist for safety purposes. No aggressive dogs will be granted access to the program.
