Event Description

Let your imagination go wild in creating your own captivating creature to take home or consider making creature hats as a costume. Explore the museum and find an artifact that you find the most ‘captivating’. Children will create their own artwork. Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer. Please provide your own lunch, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing. *Important Note: MAG Day Camps are now peanut/nut free. Please ensure the snacks & lunch provided for your child do not contain peanuts or nuts. These one-day day camps will provide your child with a fun way to spend the day during a teacher in-service day (PD day). Every camp will consist of a theme based art craft, several indoor and outdoor activities, and free time in the galleries to explore. Designed for children aged 6-12. -Cost: $30 per day for non-museum members and $25 per day for museum members. -Pre-registration is required for this program. -Registration can be completed on our website or in person. -Children will need to bring: lunch, snacks & outdoor weather appropriate clothing For more program information, call 403-309-8405 or email museum@reddeer.ca.
