Event Description
The Red Deer Steps for Life 5 km family friendly charity walk will be on Saturday, May 4th at Bower Ponds Stage. This fundraiser walk raises funds for the registered charity, Threads of Life, who help workers and their families affected by workplace tragedy. Workplace tragedies include workplace fatality, life altering injury or occupational disease.
Registration opens at 9:30 am, entertainment starts at 10 am, opening remarks start at 11 am with the walk and BBQ to follow.
Entertainment includes live music, face painting, mascots, colouring contest and a bake sale.
All registered participants receive a t-shirt and BBQ.
