Alberta Bats Walk & Talk

From 9:30 p.m to 11:00 p.m.

Discover Alberta's amazing bat species! Join local expert Cory Olson from Wildlife Conservation Society Canada's Alberta Community Bat Program to learn about these fascinating creatures, debunk some common myths, and enjoy a walk through the Fort grounds in the hopes of spotting wild bats.

This program takes place at Historic Fort Normandeau. Please note: there is another Alberta Bats Walk & Talk happening at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre on August 1, 2026. Come to one or both!

All ages welcome.
$5/person. Ages 2 & under FREE.
All children and youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Pre-registration required by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3.
Limited spaces.
This event runs rain or shine; it can be moved indoors in the event of inclement weather.
