Momentum Summer Canskate- Learn to Skate

CanSkate is Skate Canada’s learn-to-skate program designed for beginners of all ages. Through fun, engaging activities and nationally developed teaching methods, skaters build confidence while developing fundamental skating skills such as balance, control, agility, and coordination.

At Momentum Skating Academy, our CanSkate sessions focus on creating a positive, supportive environment where skaters can progress at their own pace. Skills learned in CanSkate provide a strong foundation for figure skating, hockey, ringette, speed skating, and recreational skating.

Recommended for: New skaters and those working on Stage 1–6 skills.

What to bring: CSA-approved hockey helmet, skates, gloves or mittens, and warm athletic clothing.
