Opening Reception | 5-8PM
Renewal opens as part of First Fridays, a monthly celebration of art in downtown Red Deer. Local galleries stay open late with exhibitions, art experiences, and plenty of opportunities to explore the region’s creative community.
Join us to see the work up close and meet others who came out for the same reason. Renewal brings together juried art quilts from the three Canadian regions of Studio Art Quilt Associates, asking its audiences how they observe and experience renewal in their own lives.
Make your own mini art quilt!
Get inspired by the exhibition, then head to the Stewart Discovery Studio to make your own mini version of an art quilt, collaging with fabric. Running throughout the reception, 5-8PM. All ages, no experience needed.
Everyone welcome. Through Alberta Culture Days all programming is free through September.
