Pancreatic Cancer Canada is a non-profit organization committed to raising the survival rate of pancreatic cancer through major investments in research and increased awareness of the disease. We also ensure patients, and their families have access to the specialized care and support they need at every stage. Kathy’s Run for Pancreatic Cancer is back this year on Saturday, October 15 at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, Edmonton! Kathy’s Run started in 2011 in memory of Kathy McCollum, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2011. Kathy’s passion for running inspired her friends, family, and colleagues to create this event in support of life-saving research for pancreatic cancer. Kathy’s Run not only takes place in person but virtually as well. Any runner who is not able to participate in person can sign up for the virtual run. Registrants will have until June 30 to take advantage of the early bird rate before prices go up. For more information about the run and where to register, please visit kathysrun.com. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We hope you and your community runners will join us on October 15! Together we can raise the rate of survival for pancreatic cancer!
