The Red Deer and District Pipe Band is hosting an Open House from 7-9 p.m. on October 22. Come to the Elks Lodge and listen to the band practice, meet members, and learn how to join. It’s $50 a year to join which includes lessons.

"Climb Every Mountain" with the CACO in our season opening concert, Mountain Music. Louise McMurray will play Amazing Grace and the Alphorn Ballad on her alphorn that was built by her husband Adam Newman. We'll add Calvert's Suite from the Monteregian Hills, and Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 to the mix featuring "In the Hall of the Mountain King" and we'll end the show with Mussorsky's "Night on Bald Mountain"  Join us for an afternoon of musical mountains!
