Doors open at 8:15 am. There are sessions to help you learn how to do family history in a variety of ways for the beginner and those with some experience.

St. Luke's Anglican Church in Red Deer is hosting a Spring Tea and Sale on Saturday April 27th from 11:00 to 1:30.  The Tea includes a light luncheon of sandwiches and goodies (free will offering) and the Sale includes baking, plants and gently used items.  

Come with a friend & enjoy a beverage with a piece of cake and strawberries.

Then check out the homemade baking tables.

Join Dr. Delano Lewis's Butterfly Species Count project at Ellis Nature Centre. Dr. Lewis from Burman University is reaching out to Central Albertans to assist in this Citizen Science project. The training session will help you learn how to identify butterflies and conduct the butterfly counts. Butterfly count volunteers will conduct 1 hour butterfly counts throughout the summer at ENC, adding essential data to this multi-year project. Training sessions are free and refreshments will be served.
