Each spring, we join together to build a more hopeful future for all those affected by workplace tragedies.

On any given working day, three families will learn a loved one won't return home from work. Thousands more will experience a workplace injury or illness that will change their lives forever. Their families, friends, and co-workers will rally together to be there for one another.

The Association for Workplace Tragedy Family Support, known as Threads of Life, supports the healing journey of families who have suffered from a workplace fatality, traumatic life-altering injury, or occupational disease.

Every year, Threads of Life hosts Steps for Life. This 5-km family walk aims to educate the community. It highlights the ripple effects of workplace tragedies. And, it shows how we can prevent such incidents.

Members shop the sale before the general public! Buy gently used books, DVDs, CDs, vintage books and more! All proceeds support the library.

Form a team with co-workers or family or compete as an individual, and help us raise funds to ensure Sendero Centre's programs and services remain FREE with No-Referrals Needed for Central Albertans and their families, impacted by sexual trauma, abuse and violence.

Come join a fun 1/3/5 km run/walk around Bower Ponds ro help support mental health awareness. Kaitlyn volunteered at the Robb Nash Project concerts held across Alberta before she passed away at 19 from a pulmonary embolism. We know do a fun run/walk in her memory and all donations are forwarded to the Robb Nash Project in her memory. The run is on June 20 at 6:30 pm with hamburgers at the end of it. First 50 registered/paid participants receive a medal.
