A comedy cabaret style of show that can only be described as pure fun!

This is a revival of the original Mixed Nuts production staged in 2019, featuring an all new collection of comedy sketches and show tunes, sure to get your toes tapping and your belly laughing.

Prepare to snack on bits that are; mature, topical, zany, a wee bit biting, wonderfully witty and even a little dark.

Compiled and Directed by Lori Lane, with Musical Direction by Morgan McKee and Choreography by Elisa Nixon.

The Central Alberta Chamber Players bring you classical trios from Anton Reicha and Georg Schneider as well as Oskar Boehme. Trio Brio brings you light classic and pops tunes, and CACO Jazz brings you favourites from their playlists. You'll enjoy a nice variety of music and go home humming your favourite tunes. The Red Deer Steps for Life 5 km family friendly charity walk will be on Saturday, May 4th at Bower Ponds Stage.  This fundraiser walk raises funds for the registered charity, Threads of Life, who help workers and their families affected by workplace tragedy.  Workplace tragedies include workplace fatality, life altering injury or occupational disease. 

Registration opens at 9:30 am, entertainment starts at 10 am, opening remarks start at 11 am with the walk and BBQ to follow.

Entertainment includes live music, face painting, mascots, colouring contest and a bake sale.

All registered participants receive a t-shirt and BBQ.

Wishing the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary a hoppy 100th birthday with craft beer tasting, live entertainment, silent auction, and more. Adults only.

In 1924 Caroline and John Gaetz deeded a sizable portion of their land to the Federal government to create Alberta's first Dominion Bird Sanctuary—The Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary. Today, their foresight provides the citizens of Red Deer with a remarkable natural haven, offering year-round enjoyment and appreciation.
