November 2024Red Deer Lions Speed Skating Club Short Track Meet
Red Deer Lions Speed Skating Club will be hosting up to 100 young skaters from across the province for this annual meet on November 2, 2024. Races will take place from about 9 am to 4 pm at the GH Dawe north arena, 6175 67 Street Red Deer. This is an ability meet with beginner skaters under 6 years to more advanced skaters competing in a variety of races. This is a free event for spectators. Skaters invite anyone to come and cheer them on and learn about this great sport where kids get to "fly on ice".
