Red Deer Branch of AGS monthly Meeting

The Red Deer Branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society is holding their monthly meeting November 21, 2024 at LDS Church 3002 - 47 Ave. Red Deer. After the business portion of the meeting there will be a presentation "Canadian Battlefields Tour" by Bill Cunningham of Trochu. Slide show documenting a May 2023 tour of Word War I and II sites from London to the D-Day beaches of France. Great War sites of northern France and Belgium annd the Netherlands which was liberated by Canadians 80 years ago. A group of 21 traveled with Red Deer's Gone Travel'n and many were able to track down places of significance to family members. Intersted guests are always welcome.
