Registration not required.
Knowledge and theory are important, but without sitting down and repeatedly writing, they are useless. These sessions are what’s known as “write-in events” – time designated for you to sit and write your story while your peers work on theirs. This is the most important part of the writing process. You do not have to have taken the previous workshops to participate in this drop-in event!
Be sure to register for our Creative Writing Crash Course workshop series too!

December 2025PEP Society Family Recovery Meetings
PEP Society supports and educates families dealing with the effects of addiction in their loved ones. PEP’s focus is empowering families and caregivers of a loved one struggling with addiction to step into health and recovery.
We offer an in-person Family Recovery meeting in Red Deer every Tuesday from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Northside Community Centre YMCA, located at 6391 76 Street.
All programs and meetings are free of charge and no registration is required!
We offer understanding, education, a listening ear from people who have similar experiences, and no judgement. If you have a loved one in addiction of any kind, please join us.
