International Day of Persons with Disabilities

International Day of Persons with Disabilities community event. Master of Ceremonies will be J.R. Bjornson and speakers, Chelsea Hagen, Bond Jewell and Jocelyn Wilson. Local Recognition awards to follow. Local artisans will have handmade items to sell (right in time for Christmas) and light refreshments will be served. Come out and celebrate!

Medical First Responder Training

Are you interested in being more involved in your community? What about First Aid skills & helping others? 🚑 This is the opportunity for you! 😁 I would love to have you as part of our Red Deer team! We have so many awesome upcoming events to attend this year, and we can’t do it without our amazing volunteers! Become a St. John Ambulance MFR Volunteer today! This 40 hour course (broken down into 2 Weekends) exceeds Standard First Aid content and covers topics including, HCP CPR, AED, oxygen administration, trauma and medical emergencies, spinal motion restriction, and basic anatomy and physiology. Minimum age: 16 years. Pre-requisite: Standard First Aid – Level C CPR January 24th (6pm-10pm) 25th (8am-4pm) 26th (8am-4pm) 31st (6pm-10pm) February 1st (8am-4pm) 2nd (8am-4pm)
